Education:
I have a bachelors degree in social work from Grand Valley State University and a Masters
degree in Clinical Social Work with a Specialization in School Social Work from Western Michigan University.
I have successfully sat for the state of Michigan licensing exam and I am certified and licensed
to practice clinical and macro social work as well as school social work.
Experience:
I have worked in the social work field as a licensed practitioner since 2005. Previous
experience includes infant and toddler mental health, early childhood, child development, women's
healthcare, prenatal care and parenting support and education, teen parenting, substance abuse treatment, trauma and attachment to name a few. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings with individuals and groups and also at the community level developing programs and impacting policy.
